Florida Students are Resilient

Florida is leading a first-in-the-nation approach that empowers students to persevere and overcome life’s inevitable challenges. The Florida Department of Education developed state education standards and resources to equip students with skills that build resiliency. Each month we celebrate a new resiliency skill. This month is GRATITUDE.

Please visit www.buildresiliency.org for more information.

Gratitude: Being thankful and sharing appreciation with others.

Mrs. Hunt's Science Class

Mrs. Hunt's middle school science class delves into the fundamental principles of electricity, covering topics such as electric charge, current, voltage, and circuits. Students engaged in hands-on experiments, building simple circuits, exploring conductors and insulators, and even generating their own static electricity. These activities foster a deeper understanding of how electricity works and its applications in everyday life.

This comprehensive course covers both the essential and advanced features and functions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. Students will learn, practice, apply, and test their skills in real-world scenarios, preparing them for certifications, future projects and professional careers.

STEAM Expo
