Message from Mr. Padilla
As the school year is now fully under way, below is a few safety tips to help us keep our Titans safe.
Our school has updated the back patio with more seating for our students and fencing around the whole area.
To ensure the safety of our students, we strongly suggest using the car loop as it is both efficient and secure. This will help with keeping our parking lot from being overcrowded.
Crossing through unmarked areas in the car loop is not recommended, as we prioritize the safety of our students. Please use the crosswalk at the front of the school, where we have a staff member posted to help cross everyone.
If you are dropping your child off in the morning, parents need to use the car loop since staff and students are in need of the parking spaces.
American Legion Boys State Youth Leadership Program
Senior, Nicolas Welch was selected by the local chapter of the American Legion to attend this unique, one-week educational program held at Florida State University from June 18-24. Some of the objectives of Boys State are to develop civic leadership and promote a keen interest in the detailed study of Florida’s government. The program is primarily comprised of hands-on activities that promote learning by doing. Participants must have outstanding leadership qualities, character, scholarship, loyalty, and service to their school and community.
Nicolas received the Casey Carson Award for demonstrating the highest spirit of Boys State. Congratulations on this marvelous accomplishment and showing your Titan pride.
