Little Shop of Horrors
Opening night is Friday, May 12, 2023 at 7 PM in the Gym. Two shows will be held on Saturday @ 2 PM and 7 PM, and a special Mother’s Day performance is scheduled for Sunday @ 2 PM. If you have not already purchased tickets, you can still buy tickets at the door for $7. Please come out and support the Musical Theater Department.
Thank you to all the students in this production for your dedication and hard work. Thank you to Mr. Stout and Mr. Hoffman for your unwavering commitment to making this show successful. Another shout-out goes to Ryan Irving and Mr. Monds for their puppeteering skills with the plant. Lastly, thank you to all the faculty who volunteered to sell tickets and concessions. Class of 2023 Graduation
The Titan Class of 2023 will take center stage on Saturday, May 20, 2023, as they participate in their commencement program. We are so proud and excited to send these students off into the future with this safe and memorable event.
Seniors are expected to arrive at 8:45 am. They are allowed to invite up to eight guests who will be allowed into the venue at 9:30 am. If you have any questions, please contact Amanda Encarnacion at encarnaciona@odysseycharterschool.com
8th-Grade Stepping-Up Program
The 8th-Grade Stepping-Up Program is May 22, 2023, in the Gym at 10:00 am.
8th-grade students are encouraged to wear their "Sunday Best" on Monday. They will attend 1st-period, line up with their teachers at 9:30 am, and proceed to the gym.
Please note, parents will not be admitted into the gym prior to 9:45 am, so please do not arrive extra early. The Awards Assembly will immediately follow this program. Parents who wish to take their child home after the program must show ID and sign them out for early dismissal.

Awards Assembly
Our Awards Assembly is Monday, May 22, 2023 @ 12 PM in the Gym, immediately following the Stepping-Up program. Congratulations to all the outstanding Titans who earned awards this year. Students in grades 6-11 will be recognized for their outstanding achievements in English, History, Math, Science, and the Fine Arts. Families of students receiving an award have been notified and are invited to arrive at the gym promptly at 11:45 am.
Parents who wish to take their child home after the program must show ID and sign them out for early dismissal.

Grad Venture Trip to Universal Studios
Last Friday, May 5th, our 8th-grade students attended the Grad Venture trip to Universal Studios Orlando. Thank you, Ms. Guslawski and all the chaperones, for making this such a successful night. The students had a fantastic time.

Attention rising seniors... This summer DSP will be offering a promotion of $5 off any upgraded session for those who are photographed by July 1st. Get your Senior photos done early and save! Visit the DSP website or scan the QR code to schedule your photo session.
Yearbooks Have Arrived!
They are $55 and limited supplies are left. To pay via check or cash, please send it to school with your child for a receipt. If you have already purchased your Yearbook, they are available for pick up at the front office.

Senior Spotlight
Bryana Ramirez
Bryana Ramirez has a twin sister and loves music. She has attended Odyssey since 7th grade and her favorite memory is the last HS pep rally where she got to cheer with all of her friends. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Hoffman, and she hopes to become a music producer in the future.
Maylin Ramirez
Maylin Ramirez has a twin sister and is very crafty. She has attended OCS since 7th grade and loves the music program. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Hoffman. In the future, she wants to be a nurse.
Daniel Bennett
Daniel Bennett has attended Odyssey since 8th grade. His best memories of Senior year are the pep rallies, and he is looking forward to Field Day. He also appreciates the guidance department very much and says they have become like a second family. In the future, he hopes to attend college and major in marketing and business.
