Melbourne Square Mall Art Show

Titan artists have been getting their art ready for the Melbourne Square Mall Art Show next week. Please stop by the mall in the next couple of weeks and see their beautiful work. The display will be in front of Dick's Sporting Goods. The show runs from Jan 14 - Jan 28th.

The Letter of Intent was sent home this week.  The deadline to return the form is Friday, January 19, 2024.  Please complete one form per child.  If a sibling currently attends a different school, and you are interested in him/her attending Odyssey next year, please complete the blue box on the form.

Please note that your child’s seat may not be reserved for the upcoming school year if this form is not completed and returned by January 19th.  Unclaimed seats may be turned over to the lottery for new incoming students.

Parent Conference Night Tues, Jan 31st

Parent Conference Night will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from  5:00-7:00 pm. These meetings are for students who are underperforming academically or are in danger of failing.  Teachers will reach out to families to schedule appointments. Students are also encouraged to attend so they can take ownership of their academic performance and discuss strategies for improvement.

If you do not hear from a specific teacher of interest, please email that faculty member directly. Other arrangements will be made if you cannot be accommodated on Tuesday evening. Thank you for your continued support.

Oratorical Competition

Nicholas Welsh won the Oratorical Competition at Florida American Legion Post 394 on January 6, 2024.  He will advance to District competition in February.  Competition winners will compete at Area and State.  The winner at the State competition will advance to National.  Since 1938, the contest has developed knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. Substitutes Needed

Odyssey Jr/Sr is looking for parents and community members to join our Titan family. We need positive, driven individuals looking to impact our students’ daily scholastic goals. Training is provided. 

Substitute teaching rates are as follows: HS Diploma ($100/day; $50/ half day); Bachelor’s Degree ($120/day; $60/half day); Certified Teacher Substitute ($160/day; $80/half day).
