Principal Transition - Welcome Mike Davis!
We are excited to share that the Board of Directors of Odyssey Schools has named Mr. Mike Davis as our new Associate Principal for Odyssey Charter Jr/Sr High School for the remainder of the school year under the guidance and direction of Dr. Ed Jackson, Principal, and Ms. Constance Ortiz, Founder and CEO of Green Apple School Management.
Mr. Davis has been an educator for over twenty years and has served on all three Odyssey campuses for over ten years in many different capacities. With his experience and growing knowledge of Odyssey, as well as his long-term commitment to our schools and their unique mission, the Board of Directors also agreed that, at the close of this transitional period, Mr. Mike Davis will become the Site Administrator/Principal for Odyssey Charter Jr/Sr High School for the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Davis is presently working very closely with Ms. Constance and Dr. Jackson to ensure a smooth transition. Please welcome Mr. Davis as he re-joins the Odyssey Jr/Sr High family.
Dr. Jackson made a nice impact on Odyssey Charter Jr/Sr in his short time as Principal. His meaning-centered leadership style was appreciated by our students, faculty and community. We wish him well as he moves out of the area and embraces new adventures with his family.

Senior Spotlight
Christian Rivera
Christian Rivera has attended OCS since first grade and is a member of the Student Government Association. He has enjoyed this leadership role because he’s been able to plan college tours and the college fair for his classmates. He values his time at Odyssey and will miss the experiences he’s had with his teachers and the rest of the staff. Christian will major in Mechanical Engineering and attend Florida Tech full-time while also working full-time. His ultimate goal is to work for L3Harris corporation.
Vanesah Kish
Vanesah Kish has attended Odyssey since third grade. She has enjoyed being a guidance intern and learned a lot from Ms. Amanda and Ms. Burke. A fun fact is that Ms. Amanda introduced Vanesah to mac-and-cheese with Old Bay seasoning, and now it’s her favorite food. She will miss all her friends that she’s been with since eighth grade. In the future, she plans to attend nursing school and join the army as a Field Nurse.
Jevon Francis
Jevon Francis has attended Odyssey since he moved to the United States from Jamaica in 5th grade. He is a member of the Color Guard and holds many leadership positions including National Honor Society Vice-President, Student Government Senior Senator, and Senior Liason for the Class of 2023. Jevon has been accepted to several prestigious colleges and universities and has decided to attend the University of Buffalo where he will major in business.
